Common questions
Before you write.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
+
It depends on the city and the time of year. Since I take on a limited number of projects in each destination, waiting times can range from a few weeks to a couple of months. If you have a specific city or date in mind, I'd suggest writing well in advance to secure your session.
Do you tattoo designs I bring myself?
+
I don't copy other tattooers' designs, or references from Pinterest or AI. If you have references, symbols, shapes, styles or textures that inspire you, they're an excellent starting point. From that conversation we build a piece that is yours alone.
Do I need a fully defined idea?
+
No. Many people arrive with an intention, an emotion or a chapter of their life they want to represent, without knowing exactly how the tattoo should look. We build that process together: through conversation, references and observing the body, the design finds its own form.
Can I book if I'm outside Bogotá?
+
Absolutely. mundo.abstrakto is a studio that moves around the world. You can currently book sessions at any of the bases: Bogotá, Montreal, Miami or Madrid. If you live in another city, or would like to arrange a session in a new destination, write to me on Instagram. I'm always open to new routes.
Why isn't the price published in advance?
+
The price covers conversation, design, ceremony and support — not hours in the chair. Every piece and every body is different, so we discuss it once I know your idea and your vision. As a reference: small and medium pieces from COP $600,000; long sessions for complex projects from COP $1,000,000. The currency depends on the country where we meet.
What happens after I write?
+
I read every message personally. Once I know your idea, I'll reply so we can talk about the project, answer any questions and move to the next step. If we connect with the idea, we hold the date with a deposit and the creative process of your piece begins.
