I
We don't tattoo images.
We open portals.
An image decorates. A portal transforms. The difference isn't in the technique — it's in the intention behind the design, in the silence before the needle, in what you ask the symbol to hold.
Every piece that leaves the studio passes through the same question: what does your skin want to remember after today? If there's no answer, there's no needle.
II
We work slowly.
Not for aesthetics.
An average session takes between three and six weeks to schedule. Not because there's a waiting list — because there is a time of gestation. The symbol needs to rest before it touches you.
Slowness is the first form of respect.
We don't improvise on skin. We don't tattoo Pinterest references. We don't charge by the hour. We charge for the whole piece — sketch, ceremony, support.
III
Every piece
is a talisman.
A tattoo isn't an image on the skin: it's a symbol that found its place on the body. It's born from a conversation and stays as living memory.
Every piece is unique and never repeated. It comes with its notebook of origin: the reason behind the symbol, the moment it was born, the care it asks for.
IV
The symbols
are not decoration.
Our symbols come from here — from the vertebrae of Cerro Monserrate, from the architecture of the frailejón, from the names our Muisca grandmother taught us not to translate.
We don't sell exoticism. We don't strip knowledge that isn't ours from its context. When we work with an ancestral symbol, we say so: whose it is, who we spoke with, what permission we asked for.
V
Silence is
the other half of the symbol.
There's no television in the studio. No urgency. No upselling. There's a cup of coffee, two chairs, a warm light.
What you receive isn't only a piece — it's an hour where no one interrupts you. That's why we work one appointment at a time: never two people at once. This is ritual, not production.

Before the session.
One week before. Avoid alcohol and drugs: you arrive with more energy and clean blood for the procedure — more focus, more stamina.
Avoid the sun, especially on the area to be tattooed; irritated skin doesn't take ink well. Hydrate well and, if you can, add a drink with electrolytes.
Rest the night before: the nervous system responds better with a repaired body. And eat well before you come — good nutrients make the session gentler. Don't arrive on an empty stomach.
~
After the session.
Two weeks of healing. What comes after matters as much as the session: the body is closing a wound and absorbing the ink.
Avoid direct sun on the area, pools, saunas, the sea and any cream that wasn't recommended. Keep the area clean and aired for the first few days. Avoid exercise, sweat and tight clothing.
Rest and give priority to healing the wound and the nervous system. Hydrate and eat well; avoid processed, spicy or greasy food.
